Istanbul has 2 important airports,

- Istanbul International Ataurk Airport
This is our older Airport but busiest one. Atatürk Airport is located in Yeşilköy, in the european side of İstanbul. Airports distance is 28 km to downtown, 4 - 4.5 km to sea shore. You can easily park your car stay in hotel and have your meal in arport. I advice you not to eat in airport because prices are little high in Ataturk Airport. From Ataturk airport you can go everywhere of istanbul with metro for 1 dollar. You dont need to rent a taxi of course if you dont have so much stuff with you.

- Sabiha Gökçen International Airport
And our second big airport in Asian side of istanbul located in Kurtkoy (Kurtkoey). It is little far away from centre of istanbul. For example if you want to go Sultanahmet from Sabiha Gokcen it takes your 1.5 hour in rush hour time.
