WUWM Conference
WUWM normally holds each year, in spring and autumn, a wholesale/retail conference open to both members and observers; the venues alternating between Europe and the rest of the world.Additionally, a dedicated retail conference is held annually in June in Europe.
Useful Information Travel By Air Ataturk International Airport is 20 km away from city centre. The airport was recently rebuilt and it is the most modern and largest one in the country with most of its flights being international. There are direct flights to every European capital, and many to Asia, USA and the Middle East. The second international airport is Sabiha Gökçen Airport, which is located at the Asian side of the city at 50 km distance from Taksim (city center). The cost of taxi from Ataturk Airport to Dedeman Hotel is 25 €. The cost of taxi from Sabiha Gokcen Airport to Dedeman Hotel is 100 €.
Travel By Road Within the city, public transportion is a good way of getting around. There are minibuses, buses, taxis, trams (Between Aksaray and airport), subway (between Taksim and Maslak), and a tiny electric tramcar (Between Taksim and Beyoglu).
Travel By Boat Maritime Lines run both the urban and national transport. Marinas also have connections with European ports. Urban Maritime Transportation runs ships which operate between the following destinations within Istanbul: Kadikoy - Haydarpasa - Karakoy; Eminonu - Uskudar; Eminonu - Kadikoy; Bridge - Yenikoy; Beykoz - Kavaklar; Sirkeci - Bostanci, Bridge - Prince’s Islands; Bridge - Yalova; Kabatas - Cinarcik; Bostanci - Cinarcik.
