First of Istanbul Shopping Fest (ISF) that was held last year will be held second time on June 9 through June 29 in Istanbul, one of the most dynamic cities in the world. Istanbul Shopping Fest, shopping, culture and entertainment festival, will amuse the visitors with discounts over 50 % on all products ranging from garment to technology.

All the streets, which are going to be decorated with special designs and lightings for Istanbul to experience the heat of the festival colorfully and with joy, is going to host Istanbulites and other guests with concerts of famous artists,surprise entertainments and fashion shows during ISF. Festival, which is going to have surprise excitements with gifts that are more beautiful than each other, campaigns and lotteries, is going to make Istanbul glow one more time with discounts on season products, shopping nights in Shopping Malls and events.

Many events are going to take place in dozens of location, shopping malls and stores in Istanbul during the festival. Istanbul is going to be transformed into an entertainment center for 21 days and nights. Istanbul, that is going to witness street festivals, concerts, shows, music events, parties, contests, fashion shows, shows and fashion parades by special groups that are coming from abroad, is going to be the only attraction center in the region. Two shopping malls, one in European Side, one in Asian Side is going to held starred shopping nights at every weekend alongside sales up to 50 % on new season products, campaigns and lotteries.

Foreign tourists are going to be able to shop with great advantage out of discount season in Istanbul with in the scope of this festival which aims to have Istanbul become a world shopping headquarter. Our foreign guests will have tax free advantage and they will have refund for some of the taxes they pay at “tax free” stands in shopping malls and some locations in the city.

First Istanbul Shopping Fest, which was held with TRL 50 million investments in 2011, will start on June 9, 2012 with opening events. Festival is going to host many brand names at shopping streets that are Istanbul’s appealing locations in Taksim, Nisantasi, Sisli, Bakirkoy, Fatih, Bahariye, and Bagdat Street alongside over 100 modern shopping malls all over the city that is almost as big as a country with approximately population of 14 million and 5343 km². All the streets, which are going to be decorated with special designs and lightings for Istanbul to experience the heat of the festival colorfully and with joy, are going to host Istanbulites and other guests with concerts of famous artists, surprise entertainments and fashion shows during ISF.

Festival, which has hosted five million domestic and international visitors during 40 days last year, had the revenue went up to TRL 8 billion by increasing total shopping in Istanbul 26 % in comparison to previous year. In Festival, which has increased foreign credit cards transactions by TRL 252 million and number of transactions for spending over TL 40 has been 154,118,993. Festival is getting ready to welcome millions of people from Istanbul and neighboring countries in this year as well. Goal of Istanbul Shopping Fest for 2012, which is going to be held for 21 days, is to reach TRL 7 billion in revenue.

Festival, which welcomed five million people both domestic and internationally, will welcome millions of people this year as well.
